About

Jonathan was born and raised in Louisiana. His journey to the counseling profession has been a long one, but has prepared him from the obstacles life has thrown his way. Jonathan joined the United States Marine Corps in 2003 and deployed to Iraq in 2007. He has continued his service to the community for the past 17 years as a police officer. Jonathan has worked in numerous jobs as a police officer, including street crimes and investigating child and sexual offenses.

Jonathan earned his bachelors degree from Northwestern State University in 2015 and received his Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Jonathan decided to pursue a career in counseling after being impacted by trauma and loss personally and professionally. He has a passion for working with first responders, veterans, and their relationships. Jonathan believes the trauma experienced through service is not a lifelong battle scar, but something that can be overcome.
